Subject to change!

There are many things I like about the Word of God, but my favourite has to be that IT DOES NOT CHANGE! Almost everything in life is subject to change. There is no guarantee that sickness won't hit us, there is no guarantee that our marriage won't fall. There is no guarantee to our earthly possession or even our jobs. But I know that if I don't focus on 'what my eyes can see', things are subject to change even in one moment.

We are constantly reminded of circumstances by our eyes and what it sees. But if we keep looking hard to what our eyes and mind is telling us, we will be defeated. Instead, stop focusing on what is bad and start focusing on what is good; for example on God's promises, and things will slowly start shifting according to His Word. Remember that God is able to change things for you in a day. Things are subject to change according to the Word when you put your faith in Him and start confessing the Word into existence.

If you are in a situation or a circumstance that needs change for the better, I encourage you to :

  1. Don't get caught up in what you can see!
  2. Stir up your faith while in the midst of a test or battle.
  3. Don't ever quit on God!
It is easy to get caught up in the things that we see. But, remember that God has commanded us to walk by faith and not by sight. So keep going in faith, choosing to 'see' with your spiritual eyes the victory on the other side. We are often in a test or battle when uninvited circumstances hit us, but remember that you are able to stir up your faith in the middle of it all. Don't go crying to your neighbours or relatives, changing your Facebook statuses to your circumstances, tweeting about it, because your confession and declaration have power! Choose to declare and confess the promises of God in the middle of a test or battle. 

Lastly, don't you ever quit on God. He didn't quit on you when He couldn't take the suffering and the beatings of the cross. He kept going, for the prize that is YOU. So, don't quit on Him today. Don't quit, ever! He is able to deliver you out of any situation you are facing today. Just call on Him! Rely on Him- the only Person that does not change.
